No sooner had he finished the last volume in his father’s history library, than he was seized by an unbearable desire for more knowledge. But he did not want to read any more. He wanted to experience the great stories of the past in person. To be there when history is being written. It was the same desire that his father had once felt. Before he got lost … in the somewhat mad history of the world.
